Felt like spring.

Felt like spring out there. South facing slopes were warm and soft on both open slopes and in the trees. Above treeline the wind was gusting hard and the snow was wind packed and hard.

Pit at 1830 m, 29 degrees, 1830 m. CTM 17 collapse at 24 cm. Icy layer was 5 cm thick from 24 cm to 29 cm. So sign of any other layers. Snow depth was 125 cm.
