Natural size 3 avalanche on Watermelon Ridge

Observed a natural size 3 avalanche on the SE slopes above the normal Watermelon/Puzzle Peak ski lines running into lower angled terrain. Likely cornice triggered at the end of the storm. Failed on the basal facets 70-180 cm deep. Numerous other naturals size 1 to 2 on all aspects in the alpine from the past 24hrs failing on storm interfaces and deeper weak layers. 12 cm of storm snow at 2000 m, and up to 25 cm at 2700 m with light wind effect in open areas.
