<p>Witnessed failures on cliffs and steep slopes along the side of logging roads. Failures happened just from the sound of our sleds riding by. </p>

Mellow slopes.

Alpine slopes, Steep slopes, Sunny slopes, Convex slopes, Open trees.

30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Deep powder.

Stormy, Warm.
