40 cm of new snow around the Mt Manson seems to be bonding to the widespread crust it buried a few days ago. We got some cracking in wind affected terrain along ribs and ridges and we suspect of steep open slopes at higher elevation. Amazing riding at lower elevations. We dug a pit on a south aspect at 2300 m and didn't get any notable snowpack test results. The early season crusts were 200 cm deep and well bonded.
