Skied on the north side of Grassy Mtn today. The sunny picture shows a deep slab avalanche on a SE face at the head of Angus Creek; likely from the weekend storm. If you look closely you will see a surprisingly wide propagation down the treed rib on the right side of the photo.
The shady picture is the north side of Grassy. A variety of old fracture lines of varying depth were evident. Most of the steep terrain in the valley had flushed itself out. Softer snow can be found above 1950m. Below that: crusts!
