K-country wind slabs

Roughly 5cm of fresh snow overnight at 1900m in the Hero Knob/Black Prince area. Significant instability persists from the last storm cycle on leeward aspects. From a distance saw multiple size 1-2 slides from the past few days mostly starting in leeward pockets at and above treeline. At and below treeline on immediate leeward aspects is very touchy; we were able to remotely trigger multiple 50-75cm depth wind slabs running on facets with decent propagation. Turned back and skied low consequence well-supported terrain. Good reminder of the risks even in the trees - lots of potential for trauma even with short slides.
