Secondary from all sides

The day had so much potential, but alas, the south aspects were scorched, with some soft snow in pockets. We made our way west along the ridge and skied the more north facing trees there. Conditions were much nicer. We said " I think its going to clear" at least 2 dozen times to no avail. Defeated, we skied a very long run of low angle bliss thru the deep woods. The Gunbarrel was calling and we had to go.
