Sunny & Surface Hoar

Beauty day at Kootenay Pass. Alpine winds were West at 30-40 km/h but no ridge top transport. Evidence of recent lee side loading on east aspects. Healthy surface hoar overnight 3-4cm in size that was not there yesterday. It was surprisingly resistant to winds, present on all aspects and all elevations except ridge top.
