Flatiron

Amazing day out on Needle & flatiron. We skied the bowl directly N of needle, and the run from the S subsummit of Flatiron. North and NE facing slopes didn't seem to melt; all other aspects will likely have melted a bit and will have a crust start to form. Not quite as much solar effect on the snow as I expected - but several natural wet loose & a couple glide slab avalanches happened on the big S face of Yak across the valley.
