Dug a quick pit at 2088m on SW aspect to complete a compression test. A settlement occurred on CTM18 approx 45cm down from snowpack surface. After completing all taps this appeared to be a progressive compression, with no planar failure.
Snowpack was right side up, light on top and getting progressively heavier further down.
No whumping/shooting cracks seen anywhere.
Still a lot of snakes hiding under 1700m, great skiing higher up.
