Steep peak

Rode the slopes west of Beeker. Rain crust ~ 20 cm deep on skin up, no longer identifiable with a pole punch on slopes above hut. Skiing was fun powder. Area could still use a bit more base snow but is shaping up nicely. Temps cool, with light snowfall all day. No obvious instability or recent avalanches evident. Access/egress track in excellent shape.
