Clear skies, 28 degrees (experienced a slight inversion today climbing from clear creek snow park), calm wind below ridge lines, moderate South wind at ridge, no noticeable transport. 130 cm HS, 10 cm thick ice crust 30 cm under the surface, very hard layer that snowmobiles were not breaking through. Mostly one finger density below ice crust with another ice layer (pencil/knife) about 80 cm below surface. 20cm of sugar snow at ground. Observed cornices and small wind loaded slopes N to NE aspects above treeline.
