Quick report
Arrived at SCS at 930. Exciting slush surfing drive into rain at the parking lot. Skinned up towards Phat Ridge, finally changed from rain to snow at the turn off for the wing ridge huts. At bottom of Phat ridge, approximately 6800ft, evidence of proper rain stopped. Cut across towards south ridge, ascended in the drainage up to approx 7600. Winds picked up were howling from the east. Fully upside down snow structure with breakable windslabs forming. Skiing was comically bad. It was still raining in the parking lot at 1230. A Day for the Love of Sport and a good dog walk!
