Quick report
The weather today was a lot more pleasant than expected- the rain stopped before 10 AM and we enjoyed overcast/broken skies! We noticed runnels everywhere and some snowpack sinkage around trees. A quick hand pit (~7300 ft) showed a failure about 20 cm down.
Avalanche
We saw a couple large wet loose avalanches below The Lakes Lookout (N aspect) on our way up. They were far away but did not seem to have released today.
