Quick report
The recent storm snow of about 35-40 cm up high had settled out quite nicely with a colder snow above a much heavier snow from the beginning of the storm. Snow was surprisingly supportable because of the curst that formed at the new snow/old snow interface, with a very saturated and heavy snow below that. The snow below the crust is rounding and strengthening, however there was still a collapse in the extended column test at about 5cm off the ground with no propagation. Coverage is still very thin, and caution should be exercised.
