Quick report
Very warm afternoon along Becker Ridge in the sun, but when I dropped onto a N aspect slope it still held cold, loose snow available for wind transport by the NE winds in the forecast. Although there was a layer on the surface with a texture like a freezing fog or light mist layer, it was very thin and weak, and probably won't protect the snow under it from being eroded by winds. This was a low elevation slope at only 7700ft, where given the warm temperatures I expected more moist/wet snow on the surface.

Warm afternoon with a light breeze from the NE. I drove over Luther Pass earlier in the day and it was raining/snowing lightly there.
Snowpack
15-20cm of cold, loose snow on the surface of N aspects available for wind transport. Several crust layers with adjacent faceting, but the facets were interupted by percolation tubes and an ECT didn't indicate propagation.
