No major signs of instability, easy travel and warming temps under the mid day sun. Sastrugi and wind slabs forming on ridges. Some small cracking on wind affected snow along ridgetop, as well as pinwheeling observed from downtracks on rapidly warming sunny, east and south facing slopes. Nice day and nice powder everywhere.
Avalanche
Mini-windslab collapse on an east facing windlip on top of sunrise bowl. No one caught and no big enough to harm anyone, but a good proxy to show potential for other windslab avalanches at this elevation and aspect.
