Ward Canyon

Went for a tour in upper ward canyon this AM. Found good travel conditions and quality skiing. Observed 2 natural D1 wind slabs on the crest / NE aspect, 15cm HST in sheltered terrain and a small storm slab reactivity where warming was occurring at lower elevations. Other notable ob: the massive cornices in this drainage. Be heads up, with a big warm up forecasted at the end of the week, expect some of these over hanging cornices to fail.
