Quick report
Approached Avalanche Mountain via Source Lake to Snow Lake Divide. Big flakes around 8:30 am before transitioning to a wetter snowfall. Visibility was good despite being overcast almost all day. Hand pits on different aspects did not show any storm slabbing, though the top 2-3 inches of the new snow were slightly more cohesive.

Wind slab debris from a D0.5-D1 slab on the NE side of the ridge on Avalanche Mountain, spotted from the opposite side of the ridge. Also, snow on steep slopes from 5k to 4.5k on SW trees of Avalanche sluffed substantially during the descent.
