Quick report
Several D0.5-1 loose wet slides released mid day April 5 around 6500ft on East aspects, starting just below a ridgeline. A larger, older D2 slide at 5000ft on an east face appeared to have started from a glide avalanche. The Napeequa valley had many signs of older glide and loose wet avalanche activity. We found 4-8 inches of powder snow on direct north aspects 6000ft - 7200ft. West aspects had a breakable crust. East aspects had good corn between 5000ft-7200ft in afternoon. Chiwawa River Road is still mostly continuous snow starting from 0.5 mile beyond Fish Lake sno park, but several patches are starting to melt to pavement within firt 5 miles.
