Quick report
Traveled to silver basin, then up to 6000’ on the Party Knoll. Rained much less than expected, and in fact was partly sunny without as much precipitation. Snow level was lower than forecasted with occasional snow showers at 5500’. Surface of the snow was wet and sticky. Snow just below the surface was still dry powder.

Saw naturally occurring, wet/loose avalanches, mostly small but increasing throughout the day.
