Ripping ridgeline winds and significant wind transport was observed. Snow surface varied from good powder to wind scour/crust, with some isolated wind slabs that were generally non propagating. Upper elevations seemed more stable than lower.
Avalanche
~6k near heliotrope ridge on a convex roll. Saw a D1 ~25ft wide natural windslab break. Upon skinning near got some shooting cracks. Slab broke on a crust about 6-8" down. The very cohesive nature and clean shear of the slab was very interesting!
