Found a wide variety of surface conditions from stiff wind board to unsupportable slush to slick crusts depending on aspect, elevation, and time. I was able to trigger a wet loose avalanche with a ski cut in the recently deposited snow that ran on a slick crust. On a steep NE aspect at 6800’. Cracking observed in some areas that still held cold wind loaded snow. Drifts were generally shallow this far east.

Triggered D1 wet loose avalanche with ski cuts on a NE aspect at 6800’. Entrained the recently deposited snow from this week and ran on a slick bed surface.
