Was near lost trail ski area. Performed ECT. Failed ECTP11 below recent snow ~30cm depth. The snow was supportive but obviously hollow. Major observations of cracking and settling while skiing were in hollow areas around rocks and logs under snow. It’s obvious that the recent warm spell was developing a slab on top of the very weak faceted snow below. Overall It was very likely to fail on the buried PWL. The danger seemed high only absent of observing large avalanches.
