Stuck to lower angle terrain (<25 deg) and within trees to Mt Weird and Welldigger’s Ass. Lower elevations - soft, thin coverage. Snow bridges collapsing and post-holing at the beginning of the trail. Exposed trees and rock throughout the trail that improves on the ridge line. ~4600ft - rain turned to snow. About 2-4 inches of heavy wet snow that increased in depth as elevation increased. ~5000ft - deeper wet snow. High winds. ~5200ft - icy crust with a thin layer of wet snow
