Quick report

6000' NE aspect Noon, clear skies, light wind, 24F, snow depth was highly variable acoss the landscape from completely scoured to 100cm, 65cm at pit location. I found 5 crusts and no result on a single isolated column, however two columns tipped easily off the ground leaving degraded crystals on the ground. The new wind transported snow sometimes detached from the uppermost crust during uphill travel. I was able to create shooting cracks on small localized cornices but none failed under my stomping.
