Avalanche

Size
D1.5
Aspect
S
Elevation
5200 ft

The new snow (pictured) from the prior day(s) had already slidden upon my arrival - ill have to let the picture do the speaking. I turned back. The slide ran might have been capable of moving a person over a small cliff or into the trees at the cliffs edge. The conditions were sunny and windy, under warming tempratues forecast to be at about 32 deg and warming at the time of my observation - Saturday Nov 8th at 10:50 AM. It was on a Southerly facing slope (probably more than 30 degrees) and crossed the side slope trail to Cascade Pass as one exits the heavy tree cover at about an elevation of 5200 ft. It became my turn around point for the day.
