Quick report

Variable new snow amounts up to about 100cm in steep, sheltered terrain. New snow was cold, dry, light and well-bonded to itself and old snow interface in the trees. Calm winds. Plenty of snow in trees and not transported along the ridge suggested the winds calmed before the snowfall stopped yesterday. Tree bombs started as the sun hit treetops during our 8am descent.
