Quick report
Mostly stable snowpack with slow to heal wind slabs near ridge line cornice on North. Upper snow was saturated from moderately heavy wet snow coming down. Very poor visibility with rime and a surface crust at times before heavy snowfall at 11am. Older wind slabs still not connected and was easily broken with a ski kick. Surface was saturated from heavy wet snowfall. Was able to ski cut and get roller balls moving on the surface above the road at 6500’ at 1230pm…the snow surface was starting to stick due to over saturation at 6000 feet.
