We went for a tour up Incline Lake Peak, heading out the ridge to the north to avoid the heavily skied Maine peak area. The new snow seemed welly bonded to the old snow, but we did see minor cracking on the skin track at a kick turn, see photo. Cornices demonstrated the heavy winds in the past few days. It was sunny with light winds for most of the tour. Near the end of the tour, around 1 o’clock, the fog and clouds over the Tahoe blue over the ridge.
