We remotely triggered three avalanches from the ridgeline and experienced several large collapses near avalanche terrain without additional results. The slab appears to need further loading (more meat) to produce larger avalanches in this zone. From our vantage point, we could see most of the Pioneers and observed mostly D1.5–D2-sized avalanches. We experienced cracking and collapsing along most of our ridge walk. As we skied down, we continued to hear collapsing, but it wasnt traveling as far.

We experienced snow in the morning and brief clearings, before snow started again after 1800.
Snowpack
The top 15 cm was a thick layer from last night's increased temperatures and skied like solid cream cheese. Under that was a light, fluffy snow (2/2 ?) and a firmer snow from the beginning of the storm. ECTN results down 35 cm and ECTP19 and 20 down 60 cm.

We remotely triggered this large avalanche from the ridge, several hundred feet away. A nearby snowpit revealed a 60 cm thick slab over 1 mm facets, where the avalanche likely failed within the new/old interface from January 31st. Stability tests yielded ECTP19 and ECTP20 on the 1/31 layer. It is possible this broke in the storm snow (45 cm down), because the crown didn't look at thick as the entire HST.
