Quick windshield tour to look for evidence of wet loose and wind slab activity.
- Spotted only a couple of very small wet loose avalanches between Ketchum and Stanley Ranger Station
- 2 recent wind slab avalanches observed at 9900' in upper Eagle Creek drainage
- 1 old persistent slab avalanche observed at 9800' in Bromaghin Peak's N bowl
- Sun crust had formed on W, SW, and S aspects by evening in mid-elevations
- Upper elevation terrain appears to have significant wind affect, especially in the alpine

Mostly clear skies and calm winds.
Snowpack
Breakable sun crusts observed on the snow surface in the evening at 8200' on W, SW, and S aspects on Galena Pass. All other aspects seemed to stay dry despite warmer temperatures today.

Two recent natural wind slab avalanches and one older persistent slab avalanche observed. All of these avalanches were small and in upper elevations. Also observed a few very small wet loose avalanches all originating from rocky outcrops on mid- and lower elevation W, SW, and S slopes.
