Snowpack

It rained/drizzled up to around 7,300' on Friday afternoon. Precip switched to snow by sunset, with dry snow falling on wet snow below. The wet snow from the rain was still in the process of refreezing when I was out, but I'd expect we see some pronounced melt-layer recrystallization driven faceting at this interface, another interesting low elevation weak layer.

Snowpit on N/NE slope at 8,000' produced ECTN 14 and 18 down 40 cm on 11/30. CPST 20/100 SF, CPST 17/100 END, both down 40cm.
