Quick report
Many signs of wind transport from the west on our tour out the Herman saddle towards Diamond trees today. Hand sheer tests showed a variety of soft, hardly cohesive wind slabs to firmer wind slabs but no deeper than 2”. No noticeable layers of concern below the surface snow. I was anticipating wind slab activity in the loaded aspects of our run but they were less prevalent than expected. Triggered a small wind slab at the top of our run, not surprising with signs of wind transport above but very small and inconsequential.
