Quick report
Snow was sticky as we skied down the snowfield around 2:00p. Otherwise no signs of instability in our area other than the observed avalanche.
Avalanche
We were headed up he snowfield to Muir and witnessed a large slide, likely a cornice failure. It was naturally triggered and we did not see anyone caught (note: we were at least a mile away). The slide looked very large and it was evident that anything on the south and southeast facing slopes were failing.
