Quick report

Approximately 40cm of wet heavy new snow fell on top of an icy crust. 100 cm deep snowpack on a south slope at 6500ft. There was mixed liquid and frozen precip scattered through the day. Rocks and trees were shedding roller balls. There was a lot of snowmobile activity on steep slopes and I did not observe any human triggered avalanches.

Avalanche

Small wet, loose natural slides were apparent on all aspects above 3500ft. Deadhorse point was impacted for the first time this season with wet loose debris.
