Quick report
Did not dig a pit/perform stability tests. Pertinent Obs: Surface hoar observed on SW and S aspects at 3100’ elevation. Did not travel on W, N or E aspects. Surface hoar was mostly destroyed by the afternoon sun, except in shaded areas. Boot pen at 0900 at 3100’ was 3cm. Boot pen at 1400 at 3100’ was 16 cm. No roller balls or other signs of wet loose activity observed.
