Quick Observation

Remote triggered this windslab from 150m away. Heard a whumpf at the col & it triggered multiple size 1's to 1.5's down the ridge (east aspect at 2600m). Upon further investigation on a NE aspect at 2500m we found a 40cm hard slab on top of SH that was producing easy planar results with a hand shear. We stuck to mellow terrain & observed natural slab avalanches up to size 2.5 on N aspects over the following two days.
