We found good skiing despite the recent heavy traffic. Still some untracked snow in Camp West. McGill paths looked like a ski area.
Light refresh, with no recent wind-affected snow observed. Besides minor sluffing, no signs of instability
Avalanche Information
A large, older crown between Mt Green and Mt Smart. Observed from McGill Shoulder. No debris visible. Crown dimensions are rough estimate.
Weather
Mostly calm w light E gusts >2100m. Better viz than anticipated, with periods of filtered sun.
Snowpack
Most surfaces are light, dry, and weak. HN 2cm rests on a thin zipper crust on solars. Despite thin clouds, solars stayed dry.
Minor dry sluffing on convexities and slopes near 40deg. No wind-stiffened snow or wind slab instabilities were observed up to 2300m. No other signs of instability
