Cold day in the valley and pleasant once in the sun. Hand warmers were very enjoyable!
Big whumpf at the top of the pointy morraine directly below pearly rock. Wind affected snow requiring boot packing up the final ridge to pearly rock. Skied the south side of pearly rock, with one turn of crusty wind snow followed by decent turns below. No signs of instability during skiing.
Hope the group that kept it conservative was able to find a safe way down!
