The snow's off to Manitoba

Skid hero's traverse Saturday. Ski quality was generally junk. After booting down purple col to a good starting point our baseline for ski quality was rock bottom. Wind effect present and breakable slabs at every aspect and elevation of the traverse, cross loading observed as well. Wind, very mild except for gusty periods at ridge line where some minimal transport was occurring. Hero's knob had a bunch of traffic and skid much much better than purple(no walking down) Still a great day with my buds despite most of the snow being blown away.
