Low Tide Ride

We sledded up Hartley and skinned to tree line. Below tree line has early season hazards but the supportive crust made for decent travel. 20cm of storm snow sits on top of a 5cm rain crust. We saw some small cornices from SW winds that were loading east aspects. We avoided any steep open slopes. Low angle trees provided some fun dust on crust turns. We looked for slab development but did not find any stiff surface snow or signs of propagation.
