Strong outflow winds yesterday at ridgetop with moderate snow transport. Freezing cold in the wind but warm in-between gusts. Lots od surface hoar remaining in sheltered locations and collecting in pockets where transported by the wind. Some wind slabs are sitting on loose or faceted snow. Picture of surface hiar was from underside of a 4cm wind slab and looks like it may be faceting...? Interesting though. Overall, stable but variable quality all day.
