Course stayed in simple terrain but got good views of challenging and complex with no evidence of natural avalanche activity. Cold clear skies overnight grew widespread surface hoar up to size 6 mm in forest openings BTL W-SW aspect. New storm snow (18 cm) bonding moderate to the old snow surface, pit test produced few moderate non planar results at this interface. Mid snpk seem to be settling well and the two crust combo near the base of the snpk did not produce any results (down approx 90 to 100 cm). The only evidence of recent avi activity was the skier accidental report by Joe in his min from yesterday. Watched folks ski this same slope in untracked terrain either side of the crown line today with no results.
