-Skied up to ~1350m, opted not to go above road/cutblock system due to deteriorating visibility
-Skied N facing cutblocks predominantly with ~20-25cm nice soft powder on top of old melt/freeze crust
-Poor vis/flat light on descent
-Weather: -6 to -10, 5cm accumulation throughout day with moderate SE winds
-Building of new soft, shallow WS in cross loaded features observed
-Old pencil hard WS sitting on old soft storm snow found in some open features above 1300m
-A couple tiny reactive WS on steep N rolls
-At 900-1100m, breakable crust down 5-10cm quite reactive on steep rolls with some propagation (facets beneath from recent persistent cold weather). Will be interesting to see activity once loaded with more storm snow (in particular if cold persists).
