Wet trees

Brandon Richards, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Rain soaked snowpack up to 1900m begins to lighten up above 2000m. 20-25 cm of new real snow at 2100m. No cracking or whumphing observed. Heard large avalanche in the black prince bowl. Small loose slides could get going on micro features on descent. Top 150-200 metres was excellent boarding. After that it became a grabby spring slush chuck. Will definitely be freezing up. Snowing all day with a few cloudy breaks and snow hard at 230 on exit. Wind picking up from the north.
