Goldrun snow in places

Good soft snow on top of supportive crusts. thin crust above 2000m, thicker below. Barely skiable below 1900m... not enough snow. Above there wasn't much more. 30cm in places, 50cm in others. Lots of rocks visible. Seemed the west aspects were more scoured and east facing had the best skiing. North also showed signs of wind effect. Did not dig a profile but hand pits and pole probes revealed facets at ground. It looked similar everywhere we went but it was not the same under that top layer of 15+/- cm of pow. Variable depths and crust thicknesses. No signs of instability but better walking than skiing at this point.
