McBride bowl/ sunbeam creek

Toured to the notch below the summit of McBride peak from the start of the summer trail., beautifully sunny day with a minor inversion noticed not above -4c but slight wetness in the snow by the end of the day. Our objective was mainly out of solar radiation and felt confident in snowpack conditions to skin up the main bowl and ride out to sunbeam creek. Upper treeline and alpine was wind affected with strong gusts on the ridge line, lower/ sheltered area had really good skiing. Noticed a size 1 LW on the opposing solar affected slope when we returned to sleds
