Ridge walk today for avalanche observing. Route was town of Alta, Flagstaff, East to Top of East Bowl, exit Grizzly. Observed widespread old size 2.5 avalanche crowns on North side of the ridge in various states of refill. Looking into Jaws we noticed a fresh looking avalanche with sharp crown, flank and be surface features (likely new today). It appeared to run on basal facets then on top the October crust from crown down. I think it's new and thus interesting.
