Quick report

Skied in Eastern Nyack zone. Decent mid elevation coverage, and surprising pockets of decent snow on high E/NE aspects (up to 7200’) and sheltered N aspects. Sun was out for great views all around. Variable conditions on solar and/or mid elevation areas. One older wet slide sighted (SE aspect), but no other signs of recent activity. Small (2”) sloughs on some steeper (40ish) E/NE terrain but no other signs of instability. Solar aspects we were on stayed cold and dry (at least as low as 5500’ or), but old crusts remain. Winds were calm and there was no active wind transport.
